Being traded can mean real heartbreak for some players but for others it can be a blessing. One athlete in particular didn’t mince words after moving at the trade deadline, openly gunning down his former team.
NBA players may sometimes be paid millions and evolve in teams fighting for the title, that does not necessarily mean that they are happy with their situation. Whether it’s due to disputes in the locker room or misuse by the coach, a multitude of factors come into play. In some cases, only a trade can bring them a satisfactory solution.
Before the trade deadline, we saw Dewayne Dedmon change teams, he who was traded to Spurs by Miami. Cut by the Texans in stride, he now wears the colors of the Sixers and it suits him very well. Asked by Heat Nation after his departure, the pivot did not hold back his blows against the Floridians, explaining that this move had been the only way for him to preserve himself mentally. In the end, it’s not a question of motivation. I got psychological clarity. For me, this is the biggest thing I need to move forward in my life and my career. I need mental clarity and stability. For me, being traded gave me back my sanity and stability.
Obviously, the person concerned did not appreciate his time in Florida at all, he who has been little used in three years with an average of 14 minutes per game. Not sure, however, that it is better in Philly where a certain Joel Embiid, but the environment may be more conducive to it. What is certain, however, is that fans of the franchise will not miss him:

Clearly, it is not tomorrow the day before that Dewayne Dedmon will put on the Heat jersey again. Now at the Sixers, he will be keen to block the road to the Floridians if the two franchises ever face each other in the playoffs. The reunion will be tense!
