Bayern & BVB: DFL terminates championship final – and it’s exciting! | Sports

It is and will hopefully remain the most exciting title fight in years Bundesliga!

The BVB (53) currently has just one point Bayern (52) in the table and now it is also clear when the last games of the season will rise and the excitement among the fans – after 10 Bayern championships in a row – will probably end up at the boiling point…

The DFL has scheduled matchdays 31 to 33 and this is how Munich and Dortmund play:

Matchday 31:

Werder – Bayern on Saturday 6 May at 6.30 p.m

Dortmund – Wolfsburg on Sunday, May 7th at 5.30 p.m

Matchday 32:

Bayern – Schalke on Saturday 13 May at 3.30 p.m

Dortmund – Gladbach on Saturday, May 13 at 6.30 p.m

33rd matchday

Bayern – RB Leipzig on Saturday 20 May at 18:30

Augsburg – Dortmund on Sunday, May 21 at 5.30 p.m

Exciting: The 33rd and penultimate matchday, which has not been played with nine parallel games since last season compared to Bundesliga history, will be a long-distance duel with a gap of almost 24 hours between the games of the two title aspirants.

Bayern play against RB on Saturday, can submit and put Dortmund under pressure on Sunday in Augsburg. Some fans, presumably neutral, will grumble, preferring that Bayern and BVB’s games should run parallel because of the excitement. The DFL may be hoping that the odds for the individual games will then be higher.

If you look closely, Bayern can also present on matchdays 31 and 32 and Dortmund have to follow suit…

The 34th and last day of the game will then take place as usual in the crisp nine-game parallel package on May 27th. All games start at 3:30 p.m. Bayern have to play in Cologne and BVB welcomes Mainz.

Either way, it is and will hopefully remain the closest title decision in recent Bundesliga history – and in the end almost all fans are happy about that!
