A great result for the 2015 basketball youth sector which won the regional title with the Under 17 team. Forlì broke the field of the “Vu Nere” with seven points difference, 52-59.
Great credit for this result also goes to the Romagna’s technical staff. The return challenge, even with only two days available, was meticulously prepared by the coach and his collaborators: the first leg was analyzed together with the group and some specific precautions were taken. And in the end the result was decidedly positive.
A success that came at the end of a regular season group at the limits of perfection: 30 points obtained, the result of 15 victories in 16 games, finishing in first place with the best defense (55.2 points conceded) and the second best attack (78.2 points scored ).
The cohesion and unity of purpose of this group, which began to lay its foundations three and a half years ago, has led to building something unforgettable. Just as difficult to forget will be the hug that the young red and whites received last Sunday at the Unieuro Arena (on the occasion of the match against San Severo), when they were deservedly applauded by the almost 4000 present, as they paraded with the cup.
And now, after having archived this success, the interregional phase will begin which will see Pallacanestro 2.015 face the teams of Lombardy, Piedmont and Veneto-Trentino as winners in Emilia-Romagna, a region which at a youth level can boast the presence of ten clubs with guest quarters.
