In this context, the three soccer leaders gave a conference in which the president of conmebol supported Argentina’s candidacy to host the youth tournament.
“As the President said, the competition will start in May. With which you have to have everything ready now, and Argentina has it in this urgent measure. If there was more time to organize the Cup, I am sure that many more countries would have been able to participate. But in this case, Argentina has the power for any type of soccer competition that is needed.“, the Guarani manager stated.

Conmebol dreams of the 20230 World Cup
It should be noted that Conmebol considers Infantino’s good predisposition as a new approach thinking about the 2030 World Cup (Argentina-Uruguay-Paraguay-Chile). This meeting further fuels Domínguez and Tapia’s relationship with FIFA, in pursuit of receiving the possibility of organizing the World Cup.
