Apriyani/Fadia Advance to the Round of 16

Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti stepped into the last 16 of the All England 2023. Apri/Fadia defeated Jaqueline Lima/Samia Lima 21-12 & 21-14.

Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti faced Brazilian doubles Jaqueline Lima/Samia Lima in the round of 32 at the Utilita Arena, Birmingham, Wednesday (15/3/2023) evening WIB. The two pairs were one after another on points, but only went half the game.

At 7-8, Apriyani/Fadia won nine consecutive points to open the distance. From there the game was dominated by the Indonesian doubles mainstay until they won 21-12.

In the second game, Apriyani/Fadia immediately won five points at the start. But Jaqueline/Samia closed the gap and tried to stick.

Apriyani/Fadia closed the interval with a 11-7 advantage. After that, the world number five doubles widened the difference to seven points at 18-11.

Without significant difficulties, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti locked in a 21-14 victory. This also led them to the round of 16 where they would next face the Thai doubles Supissara Paewsampran/Puttita Supajirakul.

For the record, Apriyani/Fadia are the only Indonesian women’s doubles representatives at the 2023 All England. They are seeded eighth in this tournament.
