Fuzzy reasons with much clearer consequences. An altercation broke out on Monday evening in Madrid between players from the Peruvian team, who came to play a friendly match against Morocco, and the police. According to Partizado Cope, about 300 supporters came to meet the players at the bottom of their hotel, which created a crowd. A police officer would then have pushed the midfielder Yoshimar Yotun by confusing him with a fan who was a little too insistent, to the point of making his teammates react strongly to the police. Goalkeeper Pedro Gallese was even taken into custody before being released around 5 a.m.
