After Dwight Howard, the “Wilt” stats of the ghost Hassan Whiteside!

In a league where “traditional” pivots are finding it increasingly difficult to find a place, Hassan Whiteside has almost logically been ejected. The former Heat has decided to bounce abroad, and achieves cards worthy of Wilt Chamberlain!

Contrary to what a Brook Lopez might suggest, all the big men who dominated in the paint during the 2010s were unable to adapt to the transition of the game. Increasingly inclined towards outside shooting, the NBA necessarily abandons the pivots considered too static. A phenomenon of which Hassan Whiteside paid the price, and which led him to go into exile to have fun again on the floor.

Hassan Whiteside destroys everything in Puerto Rico

Like a Dwight Howard, left last summer for Taiwan where he crushes the competition, Whiteside has been forced to move to a new country in recent weeks. But rather than discovering Europe or Asia, the former interior of Miami exported his talents… to Puerto Rico, and more precisely to the Quebradillas Piratas. His 2nd match on the spot was also akin to a real butchery:

43 points, 19 rebounds, 3 blocks, 16/28 in shooting, 10/11 in free throws: in other words, Whiteside did not take long to find its marks on Puerto Rican soil. Accompanied in his workforce by Brandon Knight, which certainly contributed to his rapid acclimatization, the ex-Heat star no doubt still hopes to catch the eye of an NBA scout. For now, he will already have to agree the fans about him:

Hassan Whiteside in Puerto Rico, it becomes Shaq

43 points in Puerto Rico equals 7 points in the NBA apparently

Barely time to discover his new teammates, that Hassan Whiteside is already splashing the Puerto Rican courts with his talent. However, he will have to multiply the performances of the genre there to dream of a possible return to the NBA in the future!
