Cristian Garin and Alejandro Tablio achieved an important rise in the ATP ranking after their solid performances at the Masters 1,000 in Indian Wells, United States

Chilean tennis players Cristian Garin and Alejandro Tablio starred a major promotion this week in the ATP world rankings, after posting a brilliant performance at the Masters 1,000 in Indian Wells, in the United States.

Garin reached the round of 16 in the prestigious Californian hard court competition, losing to the Spanish Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. ‘gago’ climbed 15 places on the list and appeared in the square 82º.

Meanwhile, Tabilo also reached the round of 16 best in Indian Wells, in his best performance in this type of tournament. A performance that allowed him climb 25 positions on the ladder and be located in the box 162º.

Point out that the ariqueño and the left-handed man born in Canada, second and third national racket, respectively, will do this Monday its debut in the Miami Masters 1,000 rankings.

For his part, Nicolás Jarry fell five steps in the ranking and was positioned 57ºpreserving his status as number one in Chilean tennis.

Regarding the Top-10, the Spanish Carlos Alcaraz regained world number one after winning Indian Wells. Now, the Serbian Novak Djokovic is second and the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas appears third.
