NNew scandal at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) with this twist in the case between players Aminata Diallo and Kheira Hamraoui. César Mavacala, the sports adviser to several PSG players, including Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Kadidiatou Diani, and close to Aminata Diallo, is particularly suspected of having, last season, put pressure on the Parisian club about the extension contract from Parisian star Marie-Antoinette Katoto, on the condition that Kheira Hamraoui leaves PSG at the end of the 2021-2022 season.
Arrested Tuesday at his home, César Mavacala was indicted for extortion in an organized gang as well as for attempted extortion in an organized gang.
César Mavacala, also sports adviser and companion of Kadidiatou Diani, would have, “using coercion, sought to obtain the extension of contracts for the benefit of certain players”, explained the prosecutor of the Republic of Versailles, Maryvonne Caillibote, confirming information of Parisian and RTL.
He would also have sought, “always by force, to obtain the departure of players and sports leaders from PSG”, she continued. Former Parisian coach Didier Ollé-Nicolle was sidelined last season for behavior deemed inappropriate towards a player, which he disputes.
César Mavacala has been placed under judicial supervision, according to the same source. He is prohibited from appearing in “various places related to PSG”, in particular the club’s headquarters and the training place of its women’s section, in Bougival, in the Yvelines. He is also prohibited from exercising “a profession of the sports agent or sports adviser type”. Contacted by AFP, PSG did not wish to react.
A “totally separate” file from the attack on Kheira Hamraoui
This file is “completely separate” from the attack on Kheira Hamraoui, in which Aminata Diallo is indicted, said the prosecutor. In November 2021, Kheira Hamraoui was violently attacked, causing tension in the Paris locker room. His former partner Aminata Diallo, present on the evening of the attack, suspected of having ordered it, was indicted in September 2022. Diallo has since left the capital club for Levante, in the Spanish championship.

The Parisiennes play a quarter-final first leg of the Champions League against Wolfsburg at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday evening, with Hamraoui in the middle and Diani in attack.
