Tennis player Jule Niemeier has reached the second round of the WTA indoor tournament in Linz, Austria.
The 23-year-old from Dortmund won against Sofia Kenin from the USA 2: 6, 6: 3, 6: 4. Against the 2020 Australian Open winner, Niemeier needed 2:12 hours to advance to the next round.
