McKennie is now under contract with Leeds United in England – and reveals a humorous anecdote about his ex-team-mate!
“I’ll tell you a story about Ronaldo: he was getting a massage, I walked by and I said, ‘Oh my god, your feet look awful,'” recalled McKennie at his Leeds performance.
Ronaldo replied: “‘My friend, these feet are worth a billion euros.'” The American, who had a good relationship with the superstar, then replied: “‘You’re right, respect’.”
The value of his feet mentioned by the Portuguese seems a bit exaggerated – but some media had reported in the past that at least Real Madrid had the attacker’s legs insured after a knee injury for 206 million euros at the time.
