In this start of the season, both teams have been doing an acceptable job in this North Federation Cup. Selenzo’s team becomes strong at home and is very effective when away from home. October 12 lost in its debut, precisely against its rival from yesterday and then it grew in the contest. On Sunday afternoon we saw something of what they have been showing. Twelve deserved perhaps a little more but because of how the game was processed, the point ends up serving him.

Twelve started with everything. 30 seconds went by when Ezequiel Oviedo surprised from outside with a shot that came off near the corner. The Acuña-Figueredo duo team won the duel in the middle thanks to the great work of Elías Galván. Ferrau was restless on the left while Figueredo tried to make the absence of Danilo Lemo not noticeable -suspended-. Precisely the nine had a very clear at 11 when he received from Ferrau, eluded the goalkeeper but defined very smoothly with the empty bow and Benedetti cleared. The local continued to worry about a rival that did not react. Alejo Roldán shone when he dropped a header from Ortegoza from the angle and another header from Galván would go just above.

                                                                                                                          Matienzo llegó y convirtió.

The visit had not done much in the game but took advantage of two errors and did not forgive. At 33 Yacuzzi sent a long ball into the area, the Docista defense miscalculated and Ferreyra only touched it from above before Jaime. And 3 minutes later, Santiago Canales took charge of a free kick and nailed a left-footed shot down to the goalkeeper’s post, who remained motionless before such a kick.

For the second half, Acuña did not take too long to move the bench. After 5 minutes, he sent Lucio Toro and Fráncisco Bermudez onto the field to give the attack more mobility and try to wake up a team that had been hit by goals. Ferrau was going to try from outside and his shot went off the post. It was a warning because at 9 minutes the striker himself took a rebound from the visiting defense from outside and took a strange right hand that hit Roldán against a stick.

Selenzo tried to recover the ball in the middle with the income of Toledo, and then Gaeto and Mansilla. At times he succeeded but Jaime’s bow was far away.

                                                                                                                                   Lo empató Toro.

At 28 came the well-deserved tie for the local. Ferrau’s free kick into the area, Toro put his foot on the penalty mark and the ball went into the side. Matienzo seemed to feel the impact and stood further up the field, even looking more whole than his rival. A shot from Toledo went just off the post and the admitted Leonel Canales was close to converting.

At the end of the match, the two teams seemed satisfied with the tie but in the additional both were able to win it. First Roma had it with a shot that went high and then Toro couldn’t define and Deusich was blocked by Roldán.

Twelve deserved a little more, it is clear. However, he did not specify the occasions that he created in the initial part and then he suffered. Matienzo did not know how to take care of the advantage, but he remains undefeated in the tournament and welcomed the point since in the other group match Defensores Unidos and Sportivo América drew 0-0 at the Municipal Stadium of San Pedro.
