Thomas Müller is not a monster. He had already said so much in front of so many television microphones, just not here, in the furthest corner of the mixed zone, where a few newspaper reporters were still waiting later in the day. “Two questions,” he said, and with a little Müller grin indicated that he would probably tolerate two and a half questions. Shortly before he disappeared, Müller left an explosive message for the group. What did the team evening bring up last Friday, did anyone want to know whether this meeting was the reason for the harmonious 3-0 win against Union Berlin? Thomas Müller looked quite investigative when he replied: “We ate well. So we secured our survival.”
