Basketball games will be taking place today and tomorrow in San Juanito and Creel, between the teams from these municipalities and a selection of players from the United States who will attend the exhibition game in the western lands of the big state.
The first meeting will be today in the magical town of Creel at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday in San Juanito at the same time, the meetings are held in order to promote sports in the municipality and for visitors who found in the mountain area of the entity.
“We want people from both the municipalities, as well as the tourists who are in the towns, to have a good time, to have something to go to during the night, with this we encourage sports tourism for our visitors with teams formed locally, as well as the selection of players from the United States”, commented Jaime Campos, Secretary of Tourism of the Municipality of Bocoyna.
The United States team will be made up of prospective players who could not obtain a place in any of the teams that compete in the State Basketball League and decided to stay to participate in the match against the local players that will make up the teams.
“The San Juanito and Creel teams will be made up of elements from the region, Creel brings a very good level, we hope it will be a great show for the people who attend, since we are not used to this type of event, since we do not have a team here in our cities”, commented the public servant.

For the local teams, elements from Cuauhtémoc, Guachochi, San Rafael and Guerrero will be integrated with the best players who play in the tournaments of each municipality, for which a good match between both squads is expected. The event will be organized by Ovelin Vega and Luis Esquivel, who were in charge of gathering the teams for this friendly match.
Prior to the start of the men’s game in San Juanito, on Saturday, there will also be a match between women’s teams, the players from the host municipality will face off against a team with players from Cuauhtémoc and Guerrero, this will start at 6:00 p.m. :00 hours.
