The Women’s National Team will begin the road to EuroBasket in Vigo

Vigo will be the headquarters of the Women’s National Team this summer of 2023. The concentration will begin in the Galician city and the first preparation tournament will be played, on May 24, 25 and 26, with powerful rivals such as China and Italy.

Women’s basketball has resurfaced in Galicia, with Durán Maquinaria Ensino at LF Endesa; and Baxi Ferrol and Celta Zorka Recalvi at the top of the LF Challenge. Up to four Galician players have participated in the EuroBasket qualifying matches: Raquel Carrera, María Araújo, Paula Ginzo and Marta Canella, as well as coach Miguel Méndez.
