American Ryan Crouser, two-time Olympic champion, improved his shot put world record with a throw of 23.38m on Saturday at the Simplot Games in Idaho.
His throw, during an indoor meeting, erases his previous record of 23 m 37 established outdoors. The American also had the best indoor performance (22.82m).
