Dallas Cowboys he did not break the curse and reached 12 consecutive playoff appearances without reaching the NFC Championship Game. One of the players who did not have the best of performances was Ezekiel Elliott and, for that and other financial reasons, the Cowboys would put a single condition on the running back to return to the team for the 2023 NFL season.

Will he accept it? After another failure in los NFL Playoffs, the first decision the Cowboys made was to cut Kellen Moore, offensive coordinator. Then, Mike McCarthy, head coach, will be in charge of the plays on offense that could not count on Elliott in the event that he does not agree to Dallas’ request.

With about $7 million over the salary cap for the season NFL 2023, the Dallas Cowboys’ priorities would be to keep Tony Pollard, Leighton Vander Esch y Anthony Brown. For this reason, the Cowboys would ask Ezekiel Elliott for a single condition to return to the team and it is not known if he would accept it.

The Cowboys trusted Elliott’s conditions and gave him a contract extension in 2019 for six years and $90 million dollars. The running back, who had 12 touchdowns and 876 rushing yards in the 2022 NFL season, would have an impact of up to $16.7 million on Dallas’ team accounts by 2023.
