Real Madrid legend, Hugo Sanchez, gave advice to Vinicius Jr. who was the target of hard play by the opponent. Sanchez has experienced something similar with Los Blancos.
Vinicius has often been the target of provocations in LaLiga this season. Inappropriate actions are often carried out by opposing players and supporters against the 22-year-old player.
The Brazilian winger has been the target of violent play and racism on the pitch several times. Vinicius received this uncomfortable feeling again in Real Madrid’s last match, when they lost 0-1 at Real Mallorca, Iberostar Stadium.
Vinicius was recorded ten times being violated by Mallorca players. It was also reported that the words of racism were often hurled at Mallorca players and fans at this match.
This situation that Vinicius had to face was regrettable by Carlo Ancelotti. He hopes cases like this will not happen again.
“Vinicius is a victim of something I don’t understand. It has to be resolved. Vinicius is like a problem, and it’s not like that,” Ancelotti said as quoted by Reuters.
Madrid legend, Hugo Sanchez, hopes that Vinicius can take care of himself well from the amount of pressure from the opponent that he has to face. Sanchez said he had been in a situation similar to Vinicius.
This motivates him to perform better. Vinicius is believed to be capable of doing the same thing
“The more they insult me, the more important I feel, because they see me. Instead of being anxious or nervous, it inspires me. That’s what happened with Vinicius. All he has to do is feel important because he is cared for. And what Vinicius feels is what I feel that when the ball comes to me you sigh in fear and think: ‘This one is going to be a goal’,” Sanchez was quoted as saying by Sport.
“What he has to do is protect himself with his skills, but in a way that doesn’t lead to a yellow card. When he complains to the referee that it’s asking for protection it’s like we all want,” he continued.
