the crazy streak continues for Will Still

Will Still and Stade de Reims extended their unbeaten streak in the league to eleven games with a 4-2 victory against Lorient, for the 21st day of Ligue 1. The Belgian technician has still not experienced defeat in an official match since his formalization at the head of the club, last October.

The match got off to a bad start for Reims, which saw Lorient take a two-goal lead thanks to Le Fee (10th) and Kone (36th). Balogun took advantage of a penalty to reduce the gap before the break (44th). In the second period, Doumbia quickly equalized (51st) before Balogun scored two more goals (61st and 64th) to score a hat-trick and thus offer victory to the Rémois.

Under the direction of Will Still, warned by the referee (13th), Thibault De Smet and Thomas Foket occupied the flanks of the Reims defense throughout the match. Maxime Busi remained on the bench.

In the standings, Reims temporarily climbs to 9th place with 29 points, tied with Toulouse which is 10th.
