The controversy over Abraham Damar Grahita’s move from Prawira to Vertex, the first Indonesian basketball player to play in Japan

tvOnenews.com – The famous Indonesian basketball player, Abraham Damar Grahita, is in the public spotlight. Abraham became the first Indonesian player to play in Japan.

Abraham plays for 3rd division club, Veltex Shizouka. Unfortunately, Abraham’s move to Japan was marred by controversy from his old club, Prawira Harum Bandung.

Director of Prawira Harum Bandung, Teddy Tjahjono, admitted that he was still studying the case. He did not want to take a wrong step in Abraham’s move to Japan.

“Until now we are still reviewing it, still in the review process,” said Teddy.

This case began when Abraham signed a contract extension with Prawira Harum Bandung at the start of the 2023 season. Abraham even signed a contract until 2026.

Surprisingly, until the Indonesia Basketball League (IBL) was held, Abraham’s nose did not appear. Until finally, the Japanese club, Veltex Shizouka introduced Abraham as their new player.
