Market stalls, bungee jumping, yoga and judo demonstrations are some of the planned offerings for the 2023 spring market. The organizers of “CASCONCEPT” are putting the last weekend in March under the motto “Fit for Spring”.

In the old town there will be market stalls and exhibitors for handicrafts, clothes, accessories and clothing. All weekend long there is bungee jumping for the children at the Reiterbrunnen fountain and a water filling station from Gelsenwasser. On Sunday (March 26) the shops in the old town are also open and invite you to stroll around.

There are also plans to offer plenty of opportunities to work out. The Pompös dance school from Waltrop offers workshops, and the sports forum has a wide range of opportunities to get involved. The city is there on Friday afternoon with a counseling center on the subject of care and senior citizens’ affairs.

Culinary variety is also provided. The Hölter house is a partner of the event and the “GEROS care for the elderly” offers delicious dishes based on “grandma’s recipe” on Friday and Saturday.

The spring market takes place from 24.3. until 26.3. on Lambertusplatz and at the Reiterbrunnen in Castrop’s old town. The weekly market on Saturday will be moved to the market square due to the event.
