Skriniar’s version: the desire to renew, the conversation with Ausilio, PSG, Bremer, the bitter epilogue

Milan Skriniar and Inter: a huge love, which however is destined to die out and, perhaps, has already died out. From Samp to the captain’s armband within a few years. Right from the start in the hearts of the Nerazzurri fans, who were able to appreciate his never-subdued spirit and ability to face any type of opponent head-on, showing exponential growth on the pitch that led him to be one of the most strong in the world. Everyone has talked about the (failed) renewal in recent months: la leadershipPresident Zhangthe prosecutor Sistics. And instead the words of the person directly concerned are still at the beginning of the season, when the signing of the new contract really seemed like a done thing after the missed move to PSG.

Then? What happened? The thought of the Slovak – according to what our editorial staff has ascertained – is rather linear. It all starts from last summer, when Inter blocked Bremer, but to close the deal, he must first cash in fresh cash. At that juncture, the only player to ensure a considerable loot is just Skriniar, courted by PSG (who had previously seen the door slammed in his face by Bremer himself, now in word with the Nerazzurri). The Slovakian central to leave Milan own he doesn’t want to know, but the club has no alternatives: he has to leave because he is the only one with a serious transfer market. In fact, Skriniar is kicked out after a very frank conversation with the diesse Piero Ausilio and he, reluctantly, strikes up the deal with the Parisians, reaching an economic agreement for the transfer to France.

Suddenly, comes the turnaround. There Juventus she entered for Bremer and then Skriniar can no longer leave, unless a very high offer from Paris (which does not arrive). The Slovak is hoping for renewal and the negotiation starts amid general optimism. Not surprisingly, before the match with the Victoria Pilsen (September 13), those grand opening statements from the player arrive, recently taken out of the drawer by some of his detractors in order to throw them back in his face. With PSG, the agreement was for 12 million net a year, Skriniar asks Inter for 8, while the offer stops at 6 and, for obvious financial reasons, cannot be increased. It is evident how the parties are now distant, and not only on an economic level. No renewal and goodbye Inter on a free transfer.

This is Skriniar’s version, who will have to live these last few months as an Inter fan between the desire to go beyond an unwanted farewell and the preparations for what will come. Simone Inzaghi and the Nerazzurri fans hope that the pitch will remain the same as always. Then, everyone on his way. A bitter epilogue to a great love story that deserved another fate. But looking for culprits, this time, appears to be a completely useless exercise.
