The group of players in the category 2007-08which make up the state basketball teamconcentrated on the state auditorium to carry out their preparation towards the Basketball Regionals Macrowhich will be held in Chihuahua.
The coach, Gilberto García Fierro, prepared sessions where they worked on the defensive and offensive systems, as well as inter-squad matches, for which he included nine players from Mexicali, five from the city of Tijuana and one from Ensenada; a total of 15 young people to represent the men’s team.
A couple of weeks ago, the women had a rally in the city of Tijuana, with the aim of finding the state association in the women’s category that will represent Baja California, it is unknown so far if they will resume activities in the auditorium facilities in the next days.
The objective
The objective shared by both squads (men’s and women’s) is to aspire and compete for the gold medals in the next Conade 2023 National Games, the highest sports fair in the country in terms of children’s and youth sports.
