Select basketball teams that will attend the CONADE 2023 National Games process

Zinacantepec, State of Mexico, February 7, 2023. To determine the Basketball teams of the State of Mexico that will attend the Conade 2023 National Games, the state selection process will take place on February 11, 12, 18 and 19 at the facilities of the Edoméx Sports City, in Zinacantepec, in the “Agustín Millán” Sports Development Center, in Toluca, and the La Hortaliza Sports Unit, in Metepec.

This event is carried out by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, through the General Directorate of Physical Culture and Sports (DGCUFIDE), which summons the teams of the municipalities, schools and clubs of the Mexican entity.

For both modalities and based on the technical annexes of the competitions issued by the Organizing Committee of the national fair, it is in Basketball 5 x 5 and Basketball 3 x 3, summoning the categories 15-16 and 17-18 years, in both branches.

It should be noted that, in order to safeguard the integrity of the athletes, in addition to avoiding physical exhaustion, players will not be allowed to participate in both modalities.

Likewise, the competition system will be determined by the number of teams registered in each category, modality and branch, so you can play in a round robin, all against all by group or direct elimination system, which will be determined in the previous meeting. ; while the regulation will be the one in force by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).

The winning teams will be the basis of the teams that will attend the National Championship, the last filter towards the Conade 2023 National Games, while the coaching staff may be part of the coaching staff and the head coach will be determined by the Selection Commission. State.
