San Martín does not wake up and loses against Chicago in Mataderos

Iván Delfino’s team visits Torito from 7:10 p.m. for the third date of the championship. From the first minute the Saint does not find his way in the match. A great goal from Obregón made it 1 to 0. VIDEO

Under the Mataderos sun and before the crowd that always accompanies Chicago, San Martín took to the pitch. In the previous one, a statistic caught our attention: of the 96 games played at home in the last four seasons, only 13 times did Torito win.

At 40 seconds the first came for the local through a shot by Vega that went over the crossbar of the goal guarded by Carrizo. With Colazo on point along with Dening and Imbert behind, Santo began to come out of the attempted siege of the premises in the first minutes.

But far from making a footing, at 3 minutes Santo showed his first lack of intelligence in the background with a strong foul by Olivera after Bazzana’s failure for a free kick that finally did not endanger Carrizo’s goal.

At 11 minutes Santo began to take hold and Andrada was on the verge of taking the ball in an oversight from the bottom. The game was played like this from the beginning: with the midfields as witnesses of what was happening. Curiously tucked back, with Andrada disconnected, Delfino began to shout for the team to come out of the background and plan another game.

More fought than well played, the game entered a plateau after 25 minutes of play: Chicago stopped insinuating danger, Andrada changed the attack lane with Imbert and a header from Olivera went for the first time into the hands of Monllor.

But it was at minute 34 when the first clearest of the game came when Gallegos finished off point-blank and found a spectacular save from Carrizo to save Santo’s fence. The goalkeeper who had just made a mistake in the All Boys goal again showed signs of confidence as he had done in Río Cuarto, the same confidence that he gave at 37 ‘again against Gallegos.

After 40 minutes, justice was done on the scoreboard: a bomb by Obregón from outside the area hit Carrizo’s goal, who flew uselessly for the goal that sparked the party in Mataderos before the end of the first half.

I only needed to change some CSS.
