Ryo Hisatsune leader, Frenchman Victor Dubuisson 18th in Ras Al Khaimah

The Japanese Ryo Hisatsune takes the lead after this first round. Leading at -8, the 20-year-old had a total of 9 birdies and a bogey, counting 6 birdies in a row from hole 1 to hole 6: “It was so unreal. I was just hitting shots, making putts. It was so amazing. It’s the first time I’ve made six birdies in a row. It’s my first event of the year and I was a little nervous at the start, but I was very lucky. On the last nine holes, there are difficult holes. I had to keep making shots, making pars. On the last hole, I was very nervous, but I only made a bogey, so that’s good for me. »

Two shots behind, we find in 2nd position the Italian Edoardo Molinari, the Dane Rasmus Højgaard and the Englishman Matthew Baldwin at -6.

On the French side, Victor Dubuisson is in the top 20, in 18th position at -3. He completes a course without bogey, author of an eagle and a birdie. Behind him, at -2 in 30th position, there is Mike Lorenzo-Vera alongside Julien Guerrier and Adrien Saddier. Matthieu Pavon and Joël Stalter are 53rd at -1, accompanied by defending champion Nicolai Højgaard. In 73rd position, we find Jeong weon Ko, Romain Langasque and David Ravetto in par. Victor Perez is 90th at +1, Julien Brun and Gary Stal are 107th at +2, Clément Sordet and Alexander Levy are 115th at +3. Robin Sciot-Siegrist brings up the rear in 128th position at +5.
