The former rugby player has relapsed and will again be absent for many months. The Fijian Vinaya Habosi arrives as a medical joker.
Racing 92 Welsh winger Regan Grace has injured his Achilles tendon again and will be out for several months, the Ile-de-France rugby club announced on Wednesday.
Grace, a 26-year-old former treiziste, had already suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in August 2022 and has not, for the time being, played any meeting under the sky and white colors. He has “suffered a relapse of his Achilles tendon injury» et «should undergo surgery» which will force him to «stay away from the pitch for several more months“said Racing 92 in a press release.
To make up for his absence, the club recruited Fijian international winger Vinaya Habosi as a medical joker. The 23-year-old (3 caps) joins the squadfrom this Wednesday (…) and until the end of the sports seasonadded the club. Habosi had been recently laid off by his Fijian Drua club playing in Super Rugby Pacific. Racing 92 is currently 5th in the Top 14 (42 points) and is 16 points behind leader Toulouse.
