Puerto Madryn receives the Patagonian Integration Games

The city of Puerto Madryn will host a new edition of the Patagonian Integration Games that will have the participation of 700 young people from La Pampa, Río Negro, Neuquén, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego and the host Chubut.

These games, which will take place from May 26 to 28, were born with the idea of ​​promoting the development of Olympic and Paralympic sports in locations with low population density and creating a space for growth for athletes from the Patagonian provinces.

The presentation of the activity was accompanied by the Secretary of Sports of the Nation, Inés Arrondo; who was present together with the governor of Chubut, Mariano Arcioni; the mayor of Puerto Madryn, Gustavo Sastre; and the president of Chubut Deportes, Gustavo Hernández, among other local authorities.

The Sport Climbing discipline will be the novelty in this edition and will be added to the sports that were already part of the official schedule such as taekwondo, artistic gymnastics, tennis, table tennis, Olympic lifting, wrestling, archery, badminton and table tennis, you are last three also for athletes with disabilities.
