Promising gymnast Lilou (13) was paralyzed after a serious accident: “We can’t take everything away from her now” (Ostend)

A car accident in South Africa took a particularly heavy toll on the family of Pieter Hens and Aïssa Fryns from Ostend last summer. The couple was seriously injured, along with their son Kamiel (15) and daughter Lilou (13). The latter was paralyzed from the waist down. On March 3, Marc Herremans will speak in Kursaal Oostende for the benefit of Lilou. “We can’t take everything away from her now.”
