PMU – Arrival of the quinté of Sunday February 5 at Paris-Vincennes: “These are two champions together”, Hanna des Molles and Alexandre Abrivard at the top

Arrival of the fifth: 9 – 4 – 13 – 11 – 7

“The mare is very good, and the jockey exceptional. They do not miss the Group I days: they are two champions united. Laurent-Claude Abrivard, rarely dithyrambic, savored the victory of his boarder, Hanna des Moles, (n° 9) ridden by his son Alexandre, during the Prix de l’Île-de-France (Gr. I). The latter thus continues her flawless performance in the specialty of mounted trotting: in four attempts under the saddle, she won three times and took third place!

Given the imposed distance of 2,175 m, the show was assured, and this was confirmed on the track. Under the impetus of the two residents of Franck Leblanc, Freeman de Houelle (#10) and Happy and Lucky (n° 6), dominated in the final phase, the rhythm was regular. Always in ambush, Hanna des Molles and Alexandre Abrivard gave their opponents no chance in the final phase at the Paris-Vincennes racecourse (12th), especially as the big favourite, Blue Granville (n° 13), showed signs of weakness coming out of the last bend and had to settle for an honorable third place.

Fourth of the Cornulier and the last edition of this Prix de l’Île-de-France, Vaprio (n° 4) could do nothing against the final rush of the winner but confirms all her quality to seize the first runner-up. “He again performed well, confides his partner Nathalie Henry. I suspected that I had taken the advantage a little quickly, but he extended well to the post. He is 9 years old but is more hardened and better and better in his head. » Behind the first three, Zarenne Fas (#11) and Rib Swallow (No. 7), which had to progress in thickness, complete the good combination of a low-paying fifth but recommended in five horses by Kévin Romain.
