WHY ISN’T LUFFY WEARING SANDALS IN THE LIVE-ACTION VERSION?

Through your account Instagramthe actress Emily Rudd explained the real reason behind this modification. According to his testimony, it was necessary for his colleague Iñaki Godoy to wear closed shoes during the recordings, so as not to take any risk in the action scenes. Likewise, it is presumed that the team wanted to give the show a touch of realism.

“We all filmed the action scenes to the extent that we were allowed. If we didn’t do it, it was for security, then our doubles would come in to execute them. Unfortunately, sandals are not safe for stunts and they will not want to miss the job (that Iñaki) achieved”he pointed out.

In this way, the star confirmed that the stunt sequences will be a fundamental part of the series, which seeks to debunk the myth that most live-action adaptations are bad.
