Not for fun (daily newspaper Junge Welt)

It is now more than 50 years since John Lennon sang: »A working class hero is something to be.« In the age of the almost completely enforced culturalization of the political, it was thanks to Antonio Jonjic that at least marginal parts of the media public the old Lennon song and with it socio-economic categories were brought back to mind. Because after successfully exercising his commercial activity, Jonjic answered questions about this with a microphone held in front of him as follows: »Well, what does fun mean? I don’t do all this shit here for fun. I’m doing this because I have to. This is my job and this is my only future. That’s why I work my ass off every day, simple as that.”
