NBA: 71 points for Lillard

Next point explosion in the NBA: Point guard Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers has led his team to success in the North American professional basketball league with an outstanding 71 points. National team captain Dennis Schröder was also able to celebrate with the Los Angeles Lakers. Schröder had a strong 16 points and eight assists in 35 minutes. The Mavericks were already ahead by 27 points.

In the top game of the Western Conference, the Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Clippers 134-124 after overtime. Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic topped with 40 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the frontrunner to success.
