Morelos defines the 3×3 basketball team that will compete in the Conade Nationals 2023

The Morelense 3×3 basketball squad was formed, which ensured its trip to the state of Tabasco to compete, in the middle of the year, in the Conade 2023 National Games (National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport), the fair where the best of sport is concentrated Mexican youth, with four teams in different categories.

This was reported by the general director of the Institute of Sport and Physical Culture of the State of Morelos (Indem), Germán Villa Castañeda, noting that those who will defend the banner of the entity in the south of the country are: Dereck Delgado Gama, Héctor Ocampo Flores , Ian Rosas Barrios and Diego Martínez Zagal, male 2008-07; Alexa Knapp Méndez, Azul Delgado, Barbara Daniela Mundo and Daniela González Vargas, women’s 2008-07.

While in the men’s 2006-05, the members are: Carlos Eduardo Mendoza, Álvaro Reyna, Iván García Laureano and Jesús Pacheco Sánchez; and in the women’s of the same category: Valeria Mundo Rodríguez, Akemy Quiroz Ramírez, Adriana Velázquez Flores and Alexa Robalo Maceda, players who in the 2022 Conade Nationals, historically won gold for Morelos in the ‘burst sport’.

Germán Villa explained that for 3×3 basketball there is no regional or macro-regional qualifying round, so these athletes will only have to ‘triple’ their efforts to reach Tabasco in the best possible way; Likewise, he thanked Alberto Miranda, state delegate for said discipline, for organizing the state tournament where more than 60 young people from all over the state participated.
