At the end of 2019 There were 102 people in state prisons in Mexico for the crime of abortion. The judicial prosecution of this life decision does not only affect women, since of the total number of prisoners 88 were men and those who would have participated in the interruption of the pregnancy, which according to state legislation is a crime. The Court ruling on abortion ensures that this number of people in the jail be a thing of the past.
