Mercato | Incredible but true: Hakim Ziyech won’t come to Paris because Chelsea didn’t send papers in time

It’s a story like there are one or two during each transfer window. This time, the bad joke fell on Paris Saint-Germain. According to several sources including L’Equipe, Hakim Ziyech could not be registered as a new player for the capital club, where he was to be loaned by Chelsea. The London entity would not have sent the right papers in time to approve the operation with the authorities. Odd.

According to France Bleu, the London club, visibly more comfortable buying players than lending or selling them, sent the wrong documents several times, and late. The player, barred in London but author of an excellent World Cup, had even passed his medical examination, successfully, in Paris.
