Rimbacher is South-West German U18 champion.
Rimbach. The current Hessian champion Mark Blatt (TG Rimbach) repeated his excellent performance of the past few weeks at the Southwest German Judo Championships for U18s and won the title in Heusweiler. With four wins and not a single defeat as well as great techniques, Blatt continued to expand his series.
As in 2022, Lenya Jochum was able to secure the runner-up title in the female judoka after a hip throw worth seeing. For 15-year-old Lenya Jochum it was her tenth medal at Hessian and Southwest German Championships. Hanna Hechler went into the tournament extremely focused and determined and made it into the final. There, however, she was unable to take full advantage of the fighting and was ultimately rewarded with a silver medal for her top performance. The only 14-year-old Hanna Hechler is already one of the top players in the U18 age group nationwide.
The Rimbacher Judo Löwen will now start with their three fighters at the German Championships in Leipzig this weekend.
