Volunteers from the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) In the run-up to the match between Málaga CF and Oviedo, they jumped onto the pitch with a commemorative banner for World Cancer Day, which is celebrated this Saturday. They did it accompanied by the team’s mascot, Super Boke, to symbolize the club’s support for the “Todos contra el Cáncer” initiativeof the Spanish Association Against Cancer, whose objective is to achieve 70% survival by the year 2030, always based on achieving a greater commitment to prevention, early diagnosis and research.
Later, at halftime of the match, Javier Banderas, vice president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Málagapresented the association badge to Francisco Martín Aguilar, Málaga CF Institutional Relations Counselor, as a sign of gratitude to the club for Join the Todos Contra el Cáncer campaign. Precisely this year, the association has been awarded one of the “Siempre Fuertes” awards that will be delivered at the Gala that is scheduled for March 29 at the Picasso Museum in Malaga
