Mahomes and the mark that will match Brady in Superbowl LVII

The Chiefs quarterback will tie the former player for one item in the NFL Finals.

Patrick Mahomes has a great date next Sunday when he plays a new Superbowl in his career with the Kansas City Chiefs. The quarterback since his debut in 2017 has managed to be in the NFL final twice and now he will play his third with the intention of getting another ring in his career.

The player with his participation in the final on Sunday will equal the mark of Tom Brady who in his career started as a starter in three Superbowls in his first six NFL seasons. They would be the only quarterbacks to achieve this milestone.

Mahomes conquered his first ring in 2020 in a massive victory against the San Francisco 49ers that ended 31-20 and a year later he would lead the Chiefs to the final, but they would fall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just under Brady.

For his part, Brady experienced something similar to Mahomes. The player played in his first Superbowl in 2000 and then played three editions in six seasons.

Unlike Mahomes, Brady had a 100% success rate as he won every single Finals he played in those first few seasons.
