Lois Openda decisive, Lens to the revival

RC Lens returns to victory in Ligue 1, Lois Openda played half an hour.

After four games without a win in Ligue 1, Racing Club de Lens took advantage of the visit of FC Nantes to find the way to success (3-1).

By scoring two goals in quick succession, via Deiver Machado and Adrien Thomasson, the Sang et Or had made the break in the 36th minute, but Nantes reduced the gap just before the break thanks to Florent Mollet. And it was Lois Openda who caused the third goal. Just started playing, the Red Devil tumbled down the right flank and provoked Charles Traoré’s self-goal.

Lens is getting closer to the podium

Rather well on the game, the former Brugeois could even have added an achievement to his personal counter, but his goal at the very end of the match was canceled for an offside position.

Without consequence for Lens, who takes advantage of his victory to relaunch himself in the race for the podium. The Northerners (49 points) are level with OM, who travel to Toulouse on Sunday, and come back to one point behind second place AS Monaco.
