Leeds tempts Raúl!

The good work of Raúl González Blanco at Castilla has not gone unnoticed. The coach of the Madrid subsidiary declined in the last hours, in consensus with the Madrid, an offer from Leeds as a possible replacement for Jesse March, fired this Monday from his position. The poor run of results have led to Victor Ortasports director of Leeds, to look for new alternatives in the market.

The English team wanted at all costs to hand over the project to Raúl, who is immersed in the fight for promotion to Segunda with Castilla. However, the ‘timing’, according to the legend and the club, is not ideal and that has thrown him back. Raúl does not want to go wrong or at the wrong time of the club of his loves.

In any case, his growth as a coach is unquestionable and he has already begun to arouse the interest of important groups. It is not the first time they have noticed Raúl. Eintracht, Schalke and some Spanish teams had already shown an interest. After a few seasons of acclimatization to the bench, this is being his definitive explosion as a coach.

Castilla de Raúl is currently second in group I of the First Federation only behind Alcorcón, with whom they drew this weekend. The coach was the main supporter of several of the players staying in the squad with whom he could tackle promotion. His dream is to coach the Madrid first team at some point. While that arrives, important clubs from powerful leagues are interested in him to take him away.
