Leandro Trossard has helped Arsenal to another victory in the Premier League. On the field of Leicester City, the London club won by the smallest difference. In the 1st half, a goal by Trossard was rejected after an error on the keeper, in the 2nd half the Red Devil put Martinelli on the way to a 0-1 lead. Arsenal remain in the lead and increase their lead over Manchester City to 5 points. City play against Bournemouth later tonight.
Trossard’s opening goal was disallowed.
Leandro Trossard scored before the break, but his goal was disallowed. The Red Devil put the ball nicely in the top right corner in the 26th minute, but the VAR had found a drawing error by Ben White on goalkeeper Danny Ward, so the party was cancelled.
In the second half it was an immediate prize for the Gunners: Trossard subtly crossed Gabriel Martinelli (46 ‘), who scored the only goal of the meeting.
Wout Faes completed the 90 minutes at the Foxes, where Youri Tielemans came off the bench after 62 minutes, and Dennis Praet and Timothy Castagne made way after 77 and 85 minutes respectively. Trossard was allowed to rest 20 minutes before time.
