Viterbo – After three weeks of busy away matches, Ortoetruria-WeCom finally returns to the PalaMalè tonight against the Frascati basketball club on the day that closes the regular season and precedes the further clock phase which will begin on the first weekend of March. An important match for which the Viterbo club is calling upon all its fans, from whom a large and well-attended turnout is expected.
The blue star Viterbo is back from the setback suffered in Ferentino against the leaders, where he still played on par with the strong opponents by playing a good performance and only giving up in the final, penalized by the heavy absences of Pebole, Rogani, Baldelli and Grande. Frascati is a team well known by the biancostellati, formed by category players such as Grilli and Bonessio, by a very solid group in which Monetti, Sforza, Cavallo, Schivo, Guaita and Pittman stand out and by young prospects. They are a strong and dangerous team, with elements of great quality and experience who are very comfortable on the pitch. We have to close this first part of the championship with a match in which the pauses that we sometimes have during the match will have to be reduced to a minimum, trying instead to carefully manage all 40 minutes. We will be able to recover two of the four absent from last Sunday and all the boys know perfectly well that we need to maintain the top positions in the standings, to then play a growing second part of the season that will allow us to reach the playoff grid“.
