Kimmich in an episode of Tatort, Germany’s most famous detective series

THE SCAN SPORT – German midfielder and Bayern Munich captain Joshua Kimmich will appear in a TV series next March.

From the lawn to the film studios: Bayern’s German international midfielder Joshua Kimmich will make an appearance in Tatort, Germany’s most famous crime series, in an episode broadcast on March 12.

Joshua Kimmich is a fan of the detective series and his interest “made us very happy“, explained one of the managers of the series, Cornelius Conrad, to the Munich daily tz, Friday.

Kimmich, who shot one day, will make a “shortcameo appearance as Kenny, a fitness trainer, who had the episode’s plot victim as a client.

Crime series broadcast on German public television since the 1970s, Tatort has already seen several German football personalities make appearances in the past, such as former coach Berti Vogts in 1999, or more recently Oliver Bierhoff, Joachim Löw and Steffi Jones in 2011.
