On what dates will Roland-Garros 2023 be held?

The Roland-Garros main draw matches will be held from May 28 to June 11, 2023. The qualifiers will take place the week before, from May 22 to 26.

How to access the Roland-Garros 2023 ticket office?

Licensees will have access to the ticket office between February 8 and 16 and the general public will be able to buy their tickets from March 15. You will have to go to the official tournament website to get your tickets.

What is the ticket price for Roland-Garros 2023?

Tickets to attend a day on the Philippe Chatrier court are between 70 and 320 euros.

For the Suzanne Lenglen court, tickets are between 50 and 295 euros.

The Simonne-Mathieu is a little more accessible with tickets between 45 and 110 euros.

The additional courts in the first week will cost five euros more than last year, you will be charged 39 euros.

Finally, the qualifications will cost 20 euros and even 10 for people under 25 years old.

Who has won Roland-Garros the most times?

Among men it is obviously Rafael Nadal who has won the tournament fourteen times. Among the women, it is Chris Evert who has this record with seven Porte d’Auteuil successes.

When was the first edition held?

The first edition of the tournament was a French championship, it took place in 1891 and is played on grass and is won by H. Briggs, the only non-French (British) player to have won this tournament before it was opened up to other nationalities in 1925. This edition was won by René Lacoste and it was in 1928 that the tournament was officially called Roland Garros, which brought luck to Henri Cochet.

Where is the tournament taking place?

The French Open takes place in the Stade Roland Garros at Porte d’Auteuil in western Paris. It is located on the border between the 16th arrondissement of Paris and the city of Boulogne-Billancourt.

Who runs the Roland-Garros tournament?

Amélia Mauresmo has been the tournament director since last year. This 2023 edition will be the second under his direction.

Since 2021, France TV and Prime Video have shared the rights for the French tournament. France TV broadcasts all the matches, whether on television or on its France TV Sport platform, except for the Simmone-Mathieu court matches and those of the night sessions, which are broadcast on the platform run by Jeff Bezos.
