A 21-year-old young man was arrested by the Carabinieri in San Giovanni in Fiore on charges of theft, for having stolen a gold necklace from a 72-year-old woman and then having fled.
The carabinieri arrested the thief who had already sold the stolen necklace in a “buy gold” shop for 200 euros. The young man still had the money at the time of his arrest.
At the disposal of the magistrate on duty at the Prosecutor of the Republic of Cosenza, the man was subjected to house arrest.
