Avezzano (AQ). He attacks and mistreats his elderly mother, these are the complaints made against a 40-year-old Avezzanese, with drug addiction problems behind him. Yesterday, the man ended up in prison under a precautionary custody order issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Avezzano.
The investigations, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, were carried out by the Carabinieri of the local station who last December had already intervened in relation to the injuries sustained by the woman after the umpteenth attack suffered also with the use of improper weapons.
The result of the investigations carried out by the carabinieri who intervened and the constant monitoring of the affair led the Prosecutor’s Office to request and obtain the precautionary measure against the suspect. The measure that ensued was immediately carried out by the soldiers of the Arma who traced the 40-year-old then taking him to the prison designated by the Judicial Authority.
In the coming days, for the arrested person, there will be the expected guarantee interrogation by the GIP who issued the measure.
