The badminton club of Guillestrois hosted this weekend at the gymnasium a competition of the departmental circuit.
On Saturday February 4, 60 young people between the ages of 6 and 18 competed for the individual win.
On Sunday February 5, the adults took over and, for them, the matches took place in doubles and mixed. Players from the neighboring department, Sisteron and Barcelonnette, were present which gave, in number of registered, 85 adults. Fifteen young people and twenty adults from the Guillestre club took part in this competition.
During these two days, more than 200 matches were played.
Like last year, the Department had installed a geotextile outside on all the glazed parts of the building to prevent light from disturbing the players.
By the end of February, and to avoid this work of installing and removing these blackout elements, curtains on cable should be installed inside the gymnasium.
