An important Ju Jitsu event took place in Genoa Manesseno last weekend, the 24th Gino Bianchi National Trophy. This race proved to have truly exceptional numbers, with the participation of 480 registered athletes, belonging to all classes: children, boys, boys, rookies A, rookies B, cadets, juniors, seniors. There were 32 participating companies, coming from 10 regions of the national territory. The emotions experienced by the athletes were great: all the athletes still alive of Maestro Gino Bianchi were present at the Manesseno building, who were able to relive their past experiences. To give prestige to the competition was the presence of the President of the National Ju-Jitsu Commission Fijlkam, Maestro Antonio Amorosiwho congratulated the managers of ASD Tegliese, organizers of the event.
Il Judo Club Sakura Arma di Taggia asd has proudly participated in this event, bringing its athletes practicing the Fight System into the competition. Their behavior satisfied the Master Technicians Andrea Molinari e Manuela Ferrignowho commented: “It was a very interesting race, the boys were able to have a good experience. We were very satisfied with the results, taking into account that not all athletes have great competitive experience, but they were able to make the most of this experience, both technically and competitively”.
The final classification of the athletes was:
– Cicala Mattia – 1st place
– Antellini Elisa – 2nd classified
– Antellini Noemi – 2nd classified
– Secchi Diego – 2nd place
– Zavaglia Kristian – 3rd place
Athletes Brignole Daniele and Crepaldi Roberto had the opportunity to have a friendly match, outside the classification, which gave them the opportunity to gain good experience. Meanwhile, the preparation of the athletes continues, in view of the Italian Ju-Jitsu Cup, which will take place in La Spezia on 11 and 12 March 2023.
