Gignac extends until 2025 with the Monterrey Tigers

André-Pierre Gignac has extended his contract with the Mexican club Monterrey Tigers by one year, which expired in June 2024, the French center-forward announced Thursday on his social networks. “I am writing to you with great news. Today it fills me with joy to share that I am staying at Les Tigres until 2025“, announced Gignac on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Gignac, 37, finalist of Euro 2016 with the Blues, signed up with the Tigers during the summer of 2015, for a three-year contract, which he extended for the third time. In the jersey of the Monterrey club, the former player of the France team, Toulouse FC and Olympique de Marseille scored 181 goals, winning, among other things, four Mexican league titles, a Concacaf Champions League and three top scorer trophies in the Mexican Championship.
